NSW: Elderly woman dies after being hit by truck at crossing
A 74-year-old woman was hit and killed by a truck at a pedestrian crossing in Sydney's
north yesterday.
New South Wales police say the Collaroy Plateau woman was crossing Dee Why Parade around
1.20pm (AEDT) when she was hit by a Mitsubishi truck driven by a 34-year-old man.
A spokesman says the woman was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital with head injuries
and later died.
