VIC: Clumsy gunman gets away with Springvale post shop cash
MELBOURNE, Feb 27 AAP - A clumsy gunman tripped over a display stand and broke a window on
his way out - yet managed to get away with cash from a post shop in east suburban Springvale
South this afternoon.
A police spokesman said the man, who was about 30, held up the Australia Post shop in Athol
Road at about 2.20pm, threatening the attendant with what appeared to be a handgun under his
jumper.
