Fed: Health, education, jobs our priorities - Burrow
ACTU president SHARAN BURROW says unions believe there should be tax cuts for the lowest-paid
Australians but she says their priorities are still health, education and jobs.
Ms BURROW has told the Ten Network unions have been very clear about their priorities.
She says when the budget can afford it, unions support tax relief for the lowest-paid
working Australians.
Ms BURROW says unions support opposition leader KIM BEAZLEY'S commitment to health
and education and to relief from the GST, because of the burden it's put on working families.
